Equestrian Wool Arena – EWA is developing a sustainable, high-performance fiber sand surface for equestrian sports – ideal for both show jumping and dressage.

Today’s conventional fiber sand often contains microplastics and harmful synthetic materials, which pose serious risks to both the environment and human health. These materials are already under regulatory scrutiny and will be banned by 2030 under upcoming EU legislation.

In response, EWA is pioneering a next-generation footing, created in close collaboration with professional riders, researchers, and equestrian facilities.

 

Our surfaces are completely free from fossil-based plastics and toxic chemicals, without compromising on performance, stability, or durability.
